Wisconsin NORML

Wisconsin NORML is currently working towards a strategy that will push the Cannabis movement to where we need to be in Wisconsin, forward!  We currently have 3 local chapters; Madison NORMLNorthern WI NORML, and Southeast WI NORML if you are in these areas or interested in more information.  Please, follow the links to their sites and join a local force to help become the change we need.

We will be utilizing Wisconsin NORML once again.  Our goal is to change laws regarding Cannabis and Hemp to reflect the will of the people and also for the best interest of the future landscape of Wisconsin!

This will eventually be your source for Cannabis news, info and events in Wisconsin.  Much more to come, stay tuned…

Until then, check out our Facebook page.

From 4:20pm to 5:30pm we enjoy fellowship as an informal group of supporters gathering together prior to our meeting. We meet at the Harmony Cafe in Appleton, which has food and beverages available for sale. At 5:30pm we begin our general meeting upstairs in the 3rd Floor conference room.  (Just keep on walking up the stairs until you see the NORML people!)

Signature Support Pages for the 2013-2014 Wisconsin Medical Marijuana Act are now available for print and distribution.  Please print them and collect signatures locally and return to any NORML Meeting. Membership is the key to being a strong chapter and we are currently looking for field directors in Northern counties of Wisconsin to work with the Treasurer and fundraising team on specific projects, please contact us at NorthernWiNORML@gmail.com if interested in assisting.

Southeastern Wisconsin NORML meeting for members, prospective members and the general public starts at 4:20PM, Saturday, July 27th, at the OPEN LOT NEXT TO The Riverwest Public House located at 815 E Locust St., Milwaukee, WI. You are invited to join Wisconsin’s emerging leader in cannabis (marijuana) law reform.

The chapter supports the freedom to grow and distribute medical cannabis and industrial hemp as well as the responsible adult use of Cannabis. They work hard to repeal Cannabis Prohibition. They are working to reform current Wisconsin laws in all areas, however they could use some help from the citizens of Wisconsin. Despite our State Motto being Forward, we are falling behind legislatively compared to our neighboring States. Join Southeastern Wisconsin NORML any other NORML Chapter or other Cannabis Reform Organization in the State close to you and get involved with making a Bill Pass for Wisconsin! If you need help or can volunteer, yet don’t know how, just contact us anytime at admins@SEWisconsinNORML.org

It’s time to reclaim our freedom to make our own choices, fix our economy, help out patients, empty our over crowed prisons of non-violent cannabis offenders, end the drug related violence created by prohibition, stop the misinformation amongst the general public and restore moral integrity to our society in large part via the end of cannabis prohibition.

OSHKOSH, WI — A forum in Oshkosh Wednesday night discussed legalizing marijuana in Wisconsin.  The forum hosted by the Fox Valley ACLU, featured medical experts and law enforcement.   In the November election, Colorado and Washington became the first two states to legalize recreational marijuana.  Wednesday, the panel discussed why Wisconsin should be next.  But opponents say pot is a gateway drug that could fall into the wrong hands, like teens and youth, and could lead to harder drugs.
